This game reminds me of 2 teams back in 2021 in the state of Montana Class C district 3. The winner, being Scobey, who at the time was ranked #16 in the national #1 in the state and in class C and the defeated Frazier, who was obviously at the bottom of everything, was at one point refusing to play supposedly being dropped by the district because of the victoring team was so daunting based on other scores Scobey put up.

The one thing that I had going for me as a kid and a teen was my shot. I was deadly accurate and had amazing control. I was only 5'8 with small hands but the one thing that made my shot so pure was, believe it or not, playing nerf basktball constantly. It was a super small ball and all i did was shots. The size of the ball made me shoot in a way the MJ is describing and also allowed me to have a great touch. I didn't throw the ball in the hoop, i put perfect spin on it with great form. That translated perfectly as I jumped from nerf to a real basketball. I also emulated my shot form after late 80s, early 90s shooters. Even in my 40s, I never play basketball, but when i take my kids to a playground and I get the rare chance to shoot some hoop, that shot never goes away.

shooting is a talent.,its individual skills.,even though you do all MJ said.if you dont have thats skills/gift of shooting you can't be like MJ. its like a singer ,every one can sing.,but if you dont have that gifted voice.

If James Harden was smart enough to adapt Cuttino Mobley's fundamentals, post-up and mid range game with minimal dribbles, his legacy would look much different right now. Over dribbling to end in a long step back contested 3 pointer in the playoffs will always result in failure. In the playoffs when defenses starts to tighten up, utilizing jab steps, then a quick 1-2 dribble pull up in the mid range will keep defenses guessing.
